Launch 302 to conduct an information session | Jobs Recent

The Startup302 contest in Delaware will host an online information session for potential entrants to learn more about contest requirements, prizes, pitch ideas, and more at 4:30 p.m. December 14.

Organized by the Delaware Prosperity Partnership and partners from the Delaware business community, Startup302 supports entrepreneurs who need a boost for their business. Awards include cash grants, and benefits of participation include mentoring opportunities and involvement of investors and key influencers.

Tech startups with at least one founder from an underrepresented group can learn more about Startup302. Projects in the fields of advanced materials, agriculture, life sciences, business/financial services, chemistry, esports and blue/green energy are encouraged to participate.

Underrepresented founders include women and African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Startup302 aims to strengthen Delaware’s innovation ecosystem by improving access to finance and mentoring for underrepresented entrepreneurs, while fostering diverse perspectives, promoting inclusive and fair treatment, and attracting diverse founding communities to the region. Sstartups do not have to be from Delaware to participate.

DPP Startup302 partners include First Founders, Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance, University of Delaware’s Horn Entrepreneurship, True Access Capital’s Women’s Business Center, Small Business Development Center, Delaware State University’s College of Business, PNC Bank and StartOut.
